ANSA 2017

ANSA, the ‘most beloved’ in Gaelic,  expresses the voice of our oldest vineyards (70+ years old, some centenary) located mainly near the town of Elvillar.

Small plots of ancient vineyards spread through a small area, produce grapes which are aged independently and then blended once barrel aging is over. A complex bouquet, delicacy in the expression, balance and elegance characterize ANSA.

OSTARA BLANCO 2022

At Bodega 202, we aimed to create a multivarietal white wine, using Viura grapes from one of our oldest vineyards at 580 meters of altitude in Elvillar as the base, complementing its aromatic richness with varieties “recently” authorized by the DOCa.

We have been researching the behavior of these varieties across Rioja (100 km of diversity) to find the “perfect coupage,” a rare blend of Viura, Malvasía, and Sauvignon Blanc.

Varietal composition: 35% Viura, 33% Malvasía, and 32% Sauvignon Blanc.

Denomination of Origin: DOCa Rioja Alavesa.

Type of wine: Vino de Autor (generic).

Aging: 12 months.

Bottling date: December 2023.

Alcohol content: 14%.
